Tasting Note
The color is sumptuous deep carmine with purplish tints. On the nose, this vintage is powerful, complex and concentrated, but not heavy. The ripe fruit aromas, reminiscent of candied fruit, dominate the smoky and vanilla notes of the oak. In the mouth, the attack is full and velvety: the mid-palate is unctuous and fleshy, yet not too thick; the finish shows ripe and powerful tannins with no signs of dryness, prolonging the general harmony of this wine. This is a rare, complete vintage, combining suppleness and strength, concentration and elegance, solidity and harmony.
